This two-owner 1972 CB750is finished in Candy Gold and black and is powered by a 736cc inline-four that is mated to a five-speed transmission. Features include 19″ front and 18″ rear wire-spoke wheels, a front disc brake, an electric starter, a kickstarter, chrome fenders, dual mirrors, a four-into-four exhaust system, both center and side stands, street lighting, and a black vinyl two-up seat. The bike was purchased by the second owner with only 1,200 miles on it. Service in preparation for the sale consisted of cleaning the carburetors, replacing the tires, completing an oil change, and performing a brake flush. This CB750 is now offered in Wisconsin with a tool kit and a clean title.

The fuel tank and side panels are refinished in Candy Gold and black, and the bike features an after-market locking two-up seat upholstered in black vinyl with a passenger grab strap from Texavina. Additional details include chrome fenders, a passenger grab bar, replica dual mirrors, headlight ears, passenger footpegs, a helmet holder, reflectors, a chain guard, and center and side stands. The bike also spots replica grips, levers, and hand controls. The front fender has a small ding.
The 19″ front and 18″ rear wire-spoke wheels wear Kenda Challenger tires, which were mounted in preparation for the sale. Suspension consists of a conventional fork with gaiters as well as dual shocks mounted to the swingarm, and braking is handled by a front disc and a rear drum.

Instrumentation includes a Nippon Denso 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and four warning lights. The five-digit odometer shows just under 15k miles. We commissioned having the gauges restored and the original mileage has been retained. A receipt for this service is available and will be sent with the bike.
The 736cc inline-four featured four Keihin carburetors in addition to a four-into-four exhaust system and was factory rated at 67 horsepower. Service in preparation for the sale includes new Kenda Challenger tires, and oil change, a carburetor cleaning, and a brake flush. Under previous ownership, and shortly before our acquisition the following services were completed: New front brake line, front brake pads, rear brake shoes, rebuilt front forks, rebuilt front brake caliper, after-market ignition switch, new stator, regulator, rectifier, coils, plug wires, and plugs.
The bike will comes with it's original toolkit as well as the receipt for the gauge restoration stating that the mileage was retained. A video will be provided soon. |
